Where are we at?

Yep, with rleete we are back at full strength. That may create a bit of a parts hiccup as for a while we only needed six from each member and I believe a couple of you took that to heart. I'll go through the parts Monday evening and see if we'll be short on anything. It's supposed to be over 103° here tomorrow and the cooling tower on my office building took a dump over the weekend. I feel for you guys.

rleete, I've sent you a PM with my address. Now don't work too fast or you'll make me look bad. :dcloud:

So, how long do I have to wait before mailing the parts?

Well, crap!

Busted out the drive gear on my lathe. I was being a little aggressive in parting off, and I sheared off a couple of teeth in the head when the part climbed up on the tool. That'll teach me to check the chuck for tightness before cutting.

LMS order for replacement parts has been made. Parts should be here by Friday. Hopefully, I'll be able to send the endcaps sometime next week.

I assume it's a 7 x ? There are some sites that talk about converting to belt drive, similar to the mill conversion. Might be worth looking into.

Crap, that sucks rleete. No hurry though. I opened up my shop yesterday and it was over 100° in there. My AC has gone belly-up. Hopefully I'll have someone out later today to take a look at it.

First, I need to apologize as I haven't been able to "inventory" the parts yet to see if we need adjustments to how many I've collected. I spent the last couple of days "putting out fires" around the office - AC issues, plumbing issues, lawn sprinklers, and tenants. "When it rains, it pours" I guess. :wtf:

Secondly, I have some great news  - Surprisingly, I just received the pistons from Jason (4R8). The "surprise" is from just how fast they got here. I know it wasn't that long ago that he sent them out but here they are:

Almost there guys!

Oops.. I sent out ALL of the flywheels figuring Ron would just make up identical sets...

Actually, that's probably easier for Ron. That way he makes up kits, and doesn't have to remember which one had no this and which one had one less of that. 7 identical kits, and you get one of your own parts back.

Ron, if you only get 7 of each part, you'll have to be sure to label the kits properly. We should have thought of this months ago.

Those are some nice looking pistons, can't wait to see one in person. This is starting to come together nicely.

Excellent, glad they got there!

Just noticed I didn't clean the little parting off dag from the end, bugger!
Let me know what they mic at for you. I recorded them somewhere but my mic is ooooold and the ratchet is no longer working, hoping I've been using the right pressure.

Also, Pretty sure I put my return address on the rear of the bag, if you still have it
